Scamorza is made from cow milk and it belongs to the "pasta filata" family. It is a semi-soft white cheese with an elastic texture and piquant, milky and creamy taste.
Due to its excellent melting qualities, Scamorza is often used as a substitute for Mozzarella in baking dishes. It is also great as appetizer on its own, on pizza, in salads, with vegetables or pasta.
Ingredients: pasteurized cow's milk, salt, microbial rennet, lactic cultures, acidity regulator: lactic acid.
