Lightly dried small tomatoes, cut in quarters, flavoured with herbs and preserved in oil. The partial drying process leaves the tomato pleasantly soft with a sweet, fresh taste.

The product is ideal for making kebabs and tapas are served with aperitifs; good for enrich salads of vegetables, pasta and rice; ideal for cold dishes in general

 

FOR BRUSCHETTA
Toast the slices of bread and spread a thin layer of cream cheese to 4; stuff to taste and add the tomatoes rustic; place in oven browning
FOR SALADS PASTA OR RICE

Enrich the preparation with tomatoes and other ingredients to taste, after cooked, drained and cooled pasta and / or rice.

Before opening: store in a cool, dry place.
After opening: keep product refrigerated under good hygienic conditions and use within 2-4 days

Great canned tomatoes!

These are tomatoes that are often served as an appetizer in restaurants. Tomatoes from this can are different from standard sun dried tomatoes. They are slightly more acidic and go together with goat cheese nicely. Highly recommend!

Not Crazy About The.

Initially I was hoping these would be like a roasted tomato in oil in texture. But I was disappointed that the skins are very hard/crisp which makes eating them not so pleasant in there out of the can state. However throw them in a blender with some other ingredients like garlic spices and a little tomato sauce or broth and it makes a great pasta or pizza sauce. I also chopped them up small and used them on focaccia, and they were good this way too. Great taste, you just have to work with the texture to make a pleasant meal.
