Robinia "Acacia" honey features a light colour, a floral aroma with hints of vanilla and an overall delicate taste. Harvesting takes place between May and June in the regions of Tuscany, Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy and Mediterranean Region. After the honey is extracted by mechanical centrifugation, it is left to decant, then filtered and packaged without ever undergoing heat treatments for its preservation.
Acacia honey is perfect for sweetening herbal teas and infusions, fruit, yogurt or milk.
Flavor: very delicate with vanilla and candy aftertaste.
Smell: slightly fruity, almost absent.
Physical consistency: liquid honey, it crystallizes quite slowly and not completely due to high fructose ratio.
Uses: sweetener - the taste of food and beverages sweetened with acacia honey remains mostly unchanged.
