Apple honey is a niche honey and not very widespread due to the great difficulties that arise in its production. The apple tree is one of the very first to bloom in early spring, and for this reason the bees immediately consume the honey in order to recover.
Apple flowers honey, very rare, has a fine and delicate crystallization. The color is light amber in the liquid product, hazel with gray reflections in the crystallized product. The smell reminds apple cider, moss and baked apple in the oven. The taste is intense and closely recalls the scent of fresh fruit, flowers and herbs and thistle.
Pairing: We recommend using it to sweeten apple tart or strudel.
Tasting: Fresh, slightly bitter
Color: Light amber
Brezzo honeys come from wild flowers and trees growing in unpolluted areas. Honey is then extracted by means of centrifugation. The following filtering, decanting and jar filling operations are important steps of the production cycle which is carried out naturally without resorting to thermal treatment.
