Farfalle, originally from Lombardy and Emilia Romagna, take their name from their distinctive bow tie shape with a tight frill in the centre. The condiments recommended for Farfalle are light sauces: sauces made from butter with peas and ham; white sauces with delicate flavours made from salmon and cream; sauces made from mild, soft cheeses with a dash of saffron or curry. This pasta is also great for preparing delicious, colourful, imaginative pasta salads.

Everything was wonderful. Shipping was prompt and items were very well packed.
Excellent experience cooking with bow tie Farfalle Pasta from Italy by De Cecco no. 93 (1 lb.). Was extra short on time, so skipped boiling the pasta and instead just mixed it straight from the box with sauce, sprinkled with cheese, covered it and baked it. Turned out perfectly. There's something extra special about this pasta. We've used many different brands, but this one has a distinct aroma and taste so good that we'll only buy this brand now.
Best past ever.
