Crodino is a non-alcoholic bitter apertif, produced since 1964. From 1995 it is part of Gruppo Campari. It is an orange colored drink made of herbal extracts and sugar, and it is sold in 10 cl (6 oz) bottles. It is primarily consumed in Italy and other European countries.
San Pellegrino Sanbitter is a must when enjoying an aperitivo. What is an aperitivo? In Italy, the hour or two before having dinner is spent in a social setting with friends and family having a light appetizer and one of two drinks. This tradition is called an aperitivo. Sanbitter is the most famous drink used during these pre-dinner gatherings. It can be mixed with alcohol products or simply enjoyed by itself. (Sanbitter DOES NOT contain alcohol).
- something cocktail-ish
I absolutely love the taste of Aperol, but I don't always want a cocktail. Finding Crodino and Sanbitter was so exciting because they are the only non-alcoholic apertif I've found that ACTUALLY tastes like Aperol. I love it.
These are great options if you want something cocktail-ish, but non alcoholic. The Crodino tastes better, but the Sanbitter is closer to Campari. I just wish they cost less. Will buy again nonetheless.
Got this for my husband who is from Italy and he misses them very much and he loved them
The apperitivi were just what I was looking for. The ordering was easy, delivery on time, and you sent frequent updates on transaction. Thanks
